Bins & recycling

Changes to disposal of waste

Residents who have suffered, or think they have suffered, symptoms of Covid-19 please put personal waste such as used tissues and disposable cleaning cloths in separate rubbish bags. These should be placed into another bag, tied securely and kept separate from other household waste. This should be put aside for at least 72 hours before being put in your usual external household waste bin. Other household waste can be disposed of as normal.

All residents are required to take reasonable steps to ensure that their household waste is passed on to an authorised person. General domestic waste is collected weekly by Slough Borough Council environmental services.

Find out what goes in each bin, bin collection dates and details of alternative disposal services for all your household waste and recycling.
