Delays in our customer services

We have a high number of calls. If you are waiting on a call back, we will return your call you don’t need to call us again. You may find what you are after on our council services page or you can email us at enquiries@slough.gov.uk.

If your call is school related, please note:

  • we can’t give waiting list positions over the phone. You will be notified when a place is available for your child
  • if you’ve made an in year transfer application, and your child is out of school, it can take up to 20 school days to receive an offer
  • for queries on school transport applications please email educationtransport@slough.gov.uk or go to our Travel to school page for more details.
